Old Ways vs. New Doors!!

Hello Everyone!

We are near the end of the year and most people are thinking of things they want to change.  This is the time when personal, social and professional changes are being thought of for the next year.  During this time, a lot of people start their sentences with, "Next year, I am going to....." or, "At the beginning of the year, I am going to...."

And, the intentions may be good, when people are talking.  They may be feeling it at the time and later, their old ways come into play.  The thoughts of doubt, comfort, laziness, etc. and, the contradictory thoughts begin.  For example, "I know I need to make some changes, but, ...."  "I know I need to get a divorce, but, ....,"  "I know I need another job, but,.....," "I know I need to take a class, but, .....,"  "I know I need to advertise more, but, ....."  And, it goes on and on.

Later, people realize, years have passed and they are saying the same things.  A lot of people are not happy in their personal lives and they feel empty inside.  Therefore, the feeling of emptiness, leads them to nowhere. They are not motivated to change and have accepted the current lifestyle.

Many people are not happy in their social lives.  They are around people who are not assisting with their growth.  They are involved in conversations that are not leading to progress in their lives. They are unfulfilled socially and too afraid to step out of the social circle.

Professional change for some people is the hardest. It tends to be more challenging for some, because it involves their income.  And, when supporting a family or if, a single parent, the decision involves more than one person.  Thus, leaving a lot of people unhappy on jobs and/or in their careers.

People need to lose the contradictory thoughts and embrace positive change. And, walk through the new doors of personal, social, and professional growth!

Create a Better Day!
