Is it Time to Change Your Image?

Hello Everyone!!!

First, let me "Thank You" for the calls, e-mails, and texts I received after that devastating tornado hit AL.....My family is fine....Join me in praying for the families who were not as fortunate.......

I ask all of you, "Is it Time to Change Your Image"? This question can be applied to your personal and professional life. Changing your personal image can start with something as simple as a hairstyle or an outfit. It can also apply to your personal lifestyle. Making changes in different areas of your life, from your attitude, to painting a room in your home.

Many may ask, "how will I know when I need to make a change"? You'll know when you are tired, unhappy, and/or not getting the expected results. In life, we must realize, if you continue to do what you have always done, you're going to get the same results. If you can't see growth or progress from what you are doing in your personal or professional life, then, it's time to make a change.

Professionally, when you're ready to take your business to a new level, you may need to seek the help of an Image Consultant to work with you or your company. The Image Consultant can assist with brand strategy, media training, and much more. This person or agency can assist in "rejuvenating" your appearance to the public. In terms, your new business image will attract more customers. And, more customers mean, more revenue.

Many celebrities have Image Consultants and Wardrobe Stylists. The Wardrobe Stylist acts somewhat as a personal shopper. Selecting the proper clothes for the celebrity. If you feel you're not as strong in this area or you need someone with a "bit" more expertise in this area, hire a wardrobe stylist to assist with creating a new image for you and/or your business.

One person can hold both titles or you can hire multiple people. When hiring a person, be sure to consult their references, be sure they have a pleasant disposition and attitude. Because you will have to work in close proximity with this person(s). Be sure they are not emotional, opinionated, rude, and unprofessional.

Many of you have made comments regarding my website: www.tonilove.com. At the beginning of this year, I "changed my image". It took a team of people to assist in getting the results I envisioned. They are: Maria Palladino, my website designer, Kris Cole, wardrobe stylist, Derek Blanks, photographer, Saisha Beechum, make-up artist, and Makeda Smith, public relations manager.

As I've stated in the past, surround yourself with the right people. Maria and Makeda have been on my team for years, advising and assisting me throughout my career. Kris, Derek, and Saisha worked with me for the first time on this project. Many of you have seen Derek Blanks photos on magazine covers such as: "Essence", he's shot photos of Angela Bassett, Jennifer Hudson, Monique, Trey Songz, Usher, and many more; as well as the "Alter Ego" photos featured on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta".

Until next time......

Introducing: The Toni Love's Hair Cleansing System

Hello Everyone!!!! I want to take this opportunity to INTRODUCE you to the Toni Love's Hair Cleansing System. First, I would like to bring to your attention: YOUR HAIR IS NOT CLEAN!!!!! Yes, I said it! Even if you shampoo everyday and/or every other day. Why? Because most people continuosly use products (shampoos and conditioners) over and over, but, when do you ever strip the product off the hair shaft and start anew. My first product, the Residue Remover is all natural, with extracts such as: lemon, rosemary, wild mint, sage, and more. It is a "pre-shampoo" solution. It is sprayed onto the hair and scalp, massaged throughout the hair and scalp for 3-5 minutes and rinse. Why is this necessary? Because most times, the hair will not lather during the first shampoo, due to product build-up, oils, styling aids, such as: mousses, gels, glazes, and evironmental debris. The Residue Remover cleans the hair shaft of all of the above, BEFORE shampooing. The Residue Remover is great to use BEFORE A COLOR APPLICATION!!!! Most color applications does not give 100% satisfactory results. Why? Because stylists are applying permanent color and bleach over hair products that are left on the hair shaft. Now, the color has to work through the hair spray, mousse, gel, glaze, oil sheen, etc. that's applied to the hair BEFORE the client comes to the salon. The Residue Remover can be sprayed onto the clients hair liberally, (do not disturb/aggravate the scalp to prevent burning) rinse, allow client to sit under a luke warm dryer, and then apply the color and/or bleach. Now, the color is applied directly to the hair shaft, no interruptions, and the results are great!!!! The Residue Remover is for ALL hair types. The next product is the Cleanser, a shampoo with a "hint" of peppermint oil, to soothe the scalp and cleanse the hair and scalp. It has a mild fragrance and it's nice, smooth, and lathers. The Cleanser is for ALL hair types. The last product is the Conditioner, which has menthoyl and leaves the scalp soothing and cool. The Conditioner is NON-GREASY, which leaves the hair soft and manageable. The Conditioner is for ALL hair types. The reveiws have been great and TODAY, April 9th, the products have been picked up by the Beauty Mark Beauty Supply chain!!!!! The products will be sold in their three (3) stores throughout AL and MS. So, if you are reading this blog, be sure to check out this product. You will know the hair is thoroughly cleansed and you will see and feel results.
